Alaskan Family Cruise

At the beginning of July, we went on a week long Alaskan cruise with all of my mom's family. Only one cousin was missing! It was so awesome to spend some quality time with my cousins who I haven't seen very much in the past couple years.

First nerd picture... Port Mann Bridge cables through the back window.

The ship had Karaoke almost every night and a few of my cousins were brave enough to give it a try!

Relaxing with a book and a coffee.

Really nice wood building under construction in Juneau.

Juneau even has a +15!!!

And steep stairs climbing up between the houses.

Some buildings on the Juneau dock by day.

And by night as we sailed away.

The Skagway visitors' center put on a free walking tour to learn the history of the town. Our tour guide was the best!

Yummy salted caramel popcorn! We might have brought a bag or two home...

Skagway had the best scenery. Annaliese and I went for a gorgeous sunny run along the coast.

And another nerd picture! It all just looks so good! :)

Interesting view of the bow of our cruise ship.

One evening the entertainment was a comedian and he brought one of my cousins up. They were a hilarious combination including a "but first let me take a selfie" moment!! I was laughing so hard I was crying.

On one of the sea days we passed an island of sea lions. Most. Disgusting. Smell. EVER.

Next nerd picture... exterior cross bracing in Ketchikan.

One of the rooms had a piano where a professional pianist would play for people in the evenings. I think this guy is pretty awesome too!

On our way back to Vancouver we saw dolphins jumping beside the boat!

On the last night, the show crew put on a mock up of Dancing with the Stars and my lovely sister was chosen to participate!
