Palm Springs! :)

We spent a couple beautiful days in Palm Springs in November with another really awesome couple.  It was a nice little break.

We played a TON of the card game president.  Perfect game for suntanning since you have to get up and switch seats when you switch ranks.

The Rest of October

This month us girls had another pottery painting Saturday. We each ended up making something for our moms.

I made this soap dispenser for my mom's birthday, exactly as she requested!  Finally got to give it to her yesterday and she loved it! :)

The weather has turned decidedly winterish so we've had to come up with fun things to do inside.  This is Leif and I trying to play 2 person rook.  Not as fun as with 3 or more people...

We had these two over for a weekend.  This was their turn on the xbox kinect sports game.  Can you guess what sport they're playing??

We're off to some place warm in less than 9 hours!! Looking forward to some fun in the sun with great friends!

October: The Month of Parties!

The first party was watching a lovely couple tie the knot.  So happy for them!

Busy Weekends Continued

On the last weekend in September, I went Vancouver for an awesome Structural Conference put on by my work.  We spent 2 days learning lots of complicated things and then had some fun in the evenings.

The first restaurant.  Seating for tons of people!  And this was only half.
