It's Official!

Now that we've finally booked airplane rides, I'm allowed to blog about this...

We're taking a holiday once I'm done school!  On the itinerary is England, France, Scotland, and maybe Ireland.  My company said I was free to take some time off between finishing school and starting work, so we thought it would be a perfect opportunity to visit some far away people - like this funny guy.

And then once I spend all our money shopping at the cool stores over there, we'll come back and work!

Officially Employed

I have 10 weeks, including exams, until I graduate!  That means 35 days of school, 2 huge reports, and 3 final exams at the end.

Once that's all done I am lucky enough to have a job all lined up!  It's at a structural engineering company called RJC and they're right by McMahon Stadium.  From what I've heard, they're a really good company and they design tons of interesting structures.

I think Leif is almost more excited than I am that I'll be done school soon.  And we're both looking forward to an extra paycheck every month!!

Getting Old

This weekend, someone asked me how old I was.

I actually had to think out loud what year it was and what year I was born and do the math because I couldn't remember.

Does this mean I'm getting old?!
