A long time ago, a very dear friend went to Italy and brought this beautiful mask back for me.  I really wanted to put it up on the wall, but it needed something else to make it stand out.

I have another friend who can work magic with paper, glue, and ribbon.  Her supplier also sells decor elements to stick on the wall.  I found some swirls similar to the ones on the mask, but unfortunately no leaves so I had to cut my own out of blank sheets.

And after much difficulty with skinny sticky bits, that's where my first attempt at art now sits in our house.
