She's nine!

She is consistent in her tenacity and push for more from life and others. She does not back down and she knows getting an 'I don't know' answer from her drives me crazy. We are each other's best teachers and I love her the most.

Golden anniversary today for these babies! (Fifteen years on the fifteenth!)

We celebrated this evening by taking a family drive to Costco and having the kids ask if we are getting a divorce since we fought earlier this week because mom always asks too many questions and dad sometimes talks in a mad voice.

P.S. We are not getting a divorce. Fighting is part of every healthy relationship!

He's seven!

He is thoughtful and empathetic, a deep thinker and enthusiastic fact sharer, and embracing his natural comedic abilities. He loves early morning play, being early when arriving places, and is the first one sleeping every night. Life with this boy is sweet!
