Lake Week

In August, we also spent a week with Leif's family going to the lake as much as possible.

 

This was during the (long) trip out when we stopped to feed.

Second cousins only 3 days apart!

August began with celebrating this beauty's birthday!



We were missing my brother this summer who was working in Germany. He kept sending us ridiculously gorgeous pictures from all over Europe.

July - We Love Summer!

Since we spend most of our time keeping this little one alive, that's what most of the pictures are of this month again.

 

Her red Canada Day outfit. I do not like red. At all. But, it is acceptable in honour of Canada, the Flames, or hearts.

Watching the wind blow through the trees on a sunny day.

We went for a walk down to the local train station to take a look at the new public art installation that I did some structural design work for. It's based on Penrose tiling and communication from one side of the road to the other. When you see it close up on one side, it appears random...

 

...but when you stand in one pole grouping and look across the train station to the other pole grouping, the lights form a circle. Super nerdy, just the way I like it.
